Lisdoonvarna

One of our favourite stops is the small village of Lisdoonvarna, its a spa town and the gateway to the Burren, and a short distance on my way to the Cliffs Of Moher day tour. Close to the Aran Islands, Doolin, Ballyvaughan and Lahinch. It has become the central meeting place for many people for well over a hundred years. We would welcome to bring you to this vibrant Irish Town in the heart of the Burren while you are on a Cliffs of Moher Day Tour.

Visiting Lisdoonvarna

A great food stop for lunch or dinner is the Roadside Tavern “Pub of the Year” in County Clare 2018. It has its own Burren Brewery one of the three best Craft Breweries in Ireland (Lonely Planet “Global Beer Tour”) The Gold is a delicious lager, Black is a creamy stout that’s nuttier than its more famous Irish counterpart Guinness, but you won’t go wrong with the malty Red, which is a perennial favorite.

The Burren Smokehouse which is a 2 minute walk, also has its own parking, is also worth a visit for its smoked fish.

Great Way to See Western Ireland

We were very pleased with our van ride with Fergus Lally. He is a wonderful host and tour guide. He was able to adjust our sightseeing itinerary to include some other stops and sights along the way from Galway. Only wish we had more time with Fergus and some of the sights in Western Ireland.

Fergus was Awesome!

This is the second time I’ve been to Ireland, and Fergus took us to some amazing spots that you’ll never see taking a bus. You’d probably never see them driving on your own either. He was a great guide!! Would highly recommend, and would say that if you really want to understand more about the country, definitely worth the money!!
